About Madison Metcalfe

Biography

I  am originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma. Growing up, I was always a big communicator. From participating in plays to singing for strangers at the airport, I have always been an open and expressive person. Throughout high school, my passions led me to being involved with Student Council, Spirit Crew and my church youth group. My experiences in these organizations helped shape who I am today. I graduated from Owasso High School in 2019 and I remain a dedicated alumni to this day.

I began my college career at the University of Oklahoma. What drew me in about the University of Oklahoma was the school spirit, especially surrounding athletics like the football team. I spent one at OU, cheering on the Sooners and spending my time in my sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi.

However, my needs and desires changed, and I realized that the same passion for connection that I had felt as a young child had returned. I felt that it was time to leave small town Oklahoma, where I had spent my whole life. This led me to Chicago and DePaul University. During my time in Chicago, I have indulged in deep dish pizzas, walked along the lakeshore, and attended iconic music festivals, like Lollapalooza. I also furthered my education at DePaul University, where I have learned the skills that will help me succeed in my career and in my life.
